Our Medical Team will continue to closely monitor the COVID-19 situation and will work on the necessary precautions to operate in person again when it is safe to do so. The “silver lining” to this COVID cloud is our ability to serve more families who wouldn’t have been able to attend camp in person.

We have had some special guests that have visited us at camp during the week, depending on that year's theme. We're very thankful to all the amazing people who come to share their time and talents with our campers.

Our special guests come to our camp and bring the world around us to life. We have had Animal Encounters, Musicians, Sports Stars, and even the Chicago Mayor!

Camp Kids Are Kids Chicago is an urban camp for kids and their siblings living with and beyond cancer. It is a unique fun dynamic environment where children can just be kids and forget their diagnosis. Full medical support and trained medical professionals are onsite for the duration of the camp.
