Over $31,000 Raised! Thank you to all our families, volunteers and supporters. It was truly a successful event with the UIC Dance Team cheering us all on and DJ Dave (from every Fireworks Dinner Cruise) bringing his musical talents to help us along.
CRUISING WITH THE CAMP AT THE JOY DISTRICT
On May 12th, 2018 we held the Cruising With Camp Fundraiser at the Joy District. We raised over $40,000! That’s more than the funds needed to send our campers aboard the Mystic Blue Fireworks Dinner Cruise – the most talked about night of camp! Thank you to all who participated in our auction and to Kira for sharing her camp story!
Join us for a fun-filled day on Sunday, March 3rd from 9 am to 12 pm at GameWorks in Schaumberg, Illinois. GameWorks is a 39,000 square-foot family-friendly entertainment and dining complex offering indoor fun for guests of all ages. They offer over 200 interactive videos, ticket and prize games. The event will be held in a pivate room called The Sky Lounge. Attendees will be provided 3 hour unlimited game cards for all non-ticketed non-redemption games. There will be delicious food (brunch is at 11:00 am). PLUS we will announce this year’s camp theme. This is a FREE event, so come join us and have a great day on us! Camp Kids Are Kids Chicago is an urban camp for children living with (& beyond) cancer and their siblings. It is a unique fun dynamic environment where children can just be kids and forget their diagnosis. Full medical support and trained medical professionals are onsite for the duration of the camp.
